Symposium focusing on 2 proposed visions for a more sustainable society: Degrowth & Green Growth, in the form of an introductory lecture and debate.

The science is clear: we need to move towards net-zero emissions to avoid catastrophic climate change. But the path towards it is open to debate. How will we organise our economy and by extension our entire living system to enable this transition? Do we go for green growth or for a planned reduction in consumption and production (degrowth)? This debate will answer these questions and many more.
