Filip De Rynck (° 1956) is a professor of public administration. He teaches the course "introduction to public administration", the module local administrations and the master course "scientific currents in public administration and policy science". His research areas are mainly at the level of the local authorities, in particular the domestic government organization of our country, citizen participation, policy networks and the functioning of city authorities in the context of urban policy in Flanders. In the context of the administrative organization, he pays special attention to what is happening at the supra-local or area-oriented level in Flanders.
